More: Lizzie is a rescue dog 🐕 who ended up rescuing me. She was featured as the “dog of the week” on the local tv station in SC and I immediately went to the shelter to adopt her. I ended up having to wait 14+ days to adopt her because she was exposed to Parvo shortly after being featured on tv. I waited and waited on her and was thrilled when I finally got to bring her home. That was in the summer of 2017; she spent almost an entire year in the shelter. She has become the best dog and she is my best friend.
