More: We adopted “Louise” in 2017. She was scared of everything. Louise was probably raised in a backyard and chained. Mercifully, Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) Aldie, VA - a non-kill shelter found her, and nine months later we met her. She was terrified to be inside our house. We were going to change her name to “Sugar.” However, that didn’t last long because we call everyone Sugar in our home. The name Louise actually turned-out to be perfectly fitting because she is gentle, loyal, and now very healthy! Note: She digs her Orvis bed in the background which she inherited from a previous dearly loved rescue occupant. 💗🐶
