More: Lucky is a lovable, happy, playful 3-year-old German Shepherd rescue, adopted after a family returned him to the shelter because he was being abused with a shock collar and electric fence. He was fearful and his obedience was quickly regressing with his prior family. He was 20lbs underweight and scared of everything. This picture is a true “glow up” after coming to us. Now he’s a healthy weight, strong, and happy. His obedience has significantly improved with positive reinforcement training. He eats fresh meat, veggies, and fruits and the vet (and us) are extremely proud of his journey. His past makes him the most loyal companion now that he has a family that does nothing but love him.
