More: I found Lucy on Facebook after a local post from a person asking for help. Her Dad was beating this poor girl and was going to set her free in the desert because he was sick of her. I picked her up that night. I've had her for a year and to this day she is terrified of men, but slowly getting better. She used to refuse to go for walks or to the park because the world was very scary. With the help of a wonderful trainer, I'm happy to report she now loves the park and chases bunnies until I make her leave. I love this little girl!
