More: Lyla was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and she fought hard everyday. She had her back leg amputated after going through the initial surgery to remove her tumor, a round of chemo and the tumor came back while she was going through treatment. The MRI showed no sign of the cancer spreading so we moved forward with the amputation. After crushing her first few weeks as a tripawd, she was diagnosed with IVDD. We hired a rehab therapist to visit her weekly and got her a custom set of wheels. She thrived through every challenge and showed us how to live with gratitude and appreciation for each day. She smiled, loved with her whole heart, and played frisbee until the day we lost her. We miss her everyday and know she is always with us.
