More: Maggie is a fantastic dog, and a great companion to everyone in the household. She is super intelligent, and has a very even and calm temperament. A week ago my neighbors had a birthday party for their four year old and strange kids were crawling all over her. I felt proud to be her mom, and to know that I have a dog that even little children she’s never met can be safe. She’s a joy! And though I celebrate her every single day, it would be an honor if Orvis chose her to be a cover dog. Also it would be a step outside of the box of your usual Labrador, golden, bird dog types. And she is a sporting dog and that she’s a hound. A hunting dog. She would make a fantastic bird dog I believe with proper training. She would be a proud Orvis dog!
