More: We adopted Magnolia (aka Maggie) in Henderson County, NC back in 2016. At the time, she was a very skittish and timid two-year old rescue. Since then, she has blossomed into a personable, fun adventure buddy - accompanying us on countless fly fishing, trail running, and backpacking trips! This photo was taken during a weekend of chasing redfish on a fly rod in Cape Lookout National Seashore of the Outer Banks, NC. At the end of a long day at the beach, we went to this dock to admire the sunset. Maggie happened to be perfectly positioned with the dwindling sunset behind her when I turned around to snap this photo!
