More: Equally comfortable on the trail or lounging by the fire, Maisie is a sweet dog whose mother Evelyn was rescued from Dead Dog Beach in Puerto Rico in 2015, pregnant with Maisie and six of her siblings. Her rescue was capture on a CNN segment about The Sato Project, and Maisie came to this world the next day! We should have called her Lucky! Maisie’s favorite activity by far is going hiking in the Catskills. Don’t be fooled by her little legs—-that nose can track in the woods for hours at a time and never tire. Maisie is also the face of the soon to be opened bookstore in Roscoe, NY, @thehoundbooks .
