More: Max was diagnosed with adrenal pheochromocytoma cancer and survived 7 hours of extensive surgery to remove his right kidney and adrenal gland and removal of a mass on his vena cava. Max was 9 years old. He lived for another 3 1/2 years undergoing various chemotherapy treatments. He enjoyed every moment of his life and showed us all how to live life with grace and joy. He benefited from all the knowledge his oncologist gained resulting from prior research.
