More: Max was an only child for about a year before I got Samantha. I had no intention of getting another dog until a student I taught convinced me to get another GSD as a companion for Max, which ended up being Samantha. I am so thankful I have two pups. They are inseparable and truly love each other- they cry when they are apart. They are big, but the sweetest babies who they think are lap dogs. Samantha is definitely more affectionate with kisses, however, Max loves to cuddle up next to me and rest. They LOVE water… swimming, playing in the sprinkler, and the splash pad at the dog park. They love to go anywhere with mom and socialize with people and other puppers! They are also brother and sister to my three female cats and love snuggling and playing with them.
