More: Maxie is my 12 year old grand dog. She and our 26 year old daughter Allie rescued each other five years ago, when Allie was in college. She is a 60 pound lap dog who is a love dove despite being in numerous homes and rescues before she and Allie found each other. Allie has anxiety and Maxie has been her faithful friend as they have loved each other unconditionally ever since Maxie found her furever human!
