More: Maya was rescued from Puerto Rico and brought to the United States at the approximate age of 2 yrs. We adopted her shortly after she was placed at a shelter in Maine. Maya loves going on long walks and hiking. Her favorite thing to do on these excursions is to chase squirrels!! She is a very active dog always ready to jump in the car and find her next adventure. She is certainly my perfect little buddy!!
