More: Millie was a poorly treated rescue dog with many health issues. We got her when she was around 2 (the vet believes). It took about 6 months of bi-weekly vet visits to cure her of heartworm, intestinal worms, eye infections, ear infections, and other malady's. Once she was healthy and came out of her shell, she has the most amazing personality. Our other dog Pete has loved her from the first day she came home. Now they are inseparable.
