More: This contest is for canine cancer which sparked my interest. I submitted this photo because it was taken at the park with my dad (the one Minnie is hugging the pant leg to) when he came up to visit me at college this past year after he beat cancer himself! Minnie is not just a dog, but the best companion and greatest addition to our family. We rescued her about 8-10 years ago so her true age and birthday is I know so I put in her “gotcha birthday.” I’ve also recently started an Instagram for her (@minniek_the_chihuahua) if you would like to see more pictures of her.
