More: I took this picture last April when we adopted Mocha from the pound. We unexpectedly lost our beloved Pit bull mix “Phoenix”two months before and did not want to adopt another dog. We were devastated and our other rescue dog Finn was heartbroken. He was always wanting to sit in the yard by himself. It seemed as though he was waiting for her to return. It was an excruciating loss for him too. Due to Finn’s sadness, the Covid crisis and the shelters being over crowded we decided to open our home once again and adopt. Mocha was a scared little stray but we knew the moment we introduced her to Finn it was meant to be. She is so loving and loyal. We are very blessed to have found her.
