More: Montana is a rescue. We adopted her at approximately 2years old. Montana is still active and walks every day, although distances are shorter now with age. She loves her walks, although used to run and has helped in my training for several races. When people see Montana they are surprised by her age and her agility. This photo was taken 2-3 weeks after her sister crossed the rainbow bridge. Montana’s eyes express such deep emotion. I never knew a dog to grieve as hard as she did…it broke my heart!! I always say she’ll outlive us all…I wish it to be true!
