More: Moses was my fishing buddy. Whenever I went bass fishing I took him along and he would sit dutifully next to me like a sentinel and not move. Occasionally he would rest his head on my knee so i could pet him. The only time he moved was his head and that was when I had a fish on the line and he would keep his eye on the fish as it went back-and-forth as I fought to land the fish into the boat. He died to young from bone cancer in his knee and this broke my heart. I’ve had nothing but retrievers my whole life ( i am 66) and Moses was the best. I have been in politics in Jacksonville Florida a long time and can attest to what President Harry Truman said one time while serving as president in Washington. His quote went something like this , if you want a friend in politics get a dog. Nothing could be more true!! there will never be another Moses in my life. Matt Carlucci
