More: I’m 2020 a transport of 46 dogs landed in Spokane Washington from Houston. These dogs were all pulled from kill shelters or found as strays. I said yes to fostering a little black and white puppy that had been dumped on the cruel streets. Little did we know that she was the smart, spunky, sassy addition that my other dog and I needed in our lives. 2020 was a hard year and these girls kept me going. Hikes were the only things that got us out of the house for a while during lockdown.
