More: Newt is as much of an outdoor dog as they come! Sticks are his favorite, and he is forever grateful if you throw one for him. Throwing it into the pond for him to jump in after is even better! He has a favorite dirt road that we visit often for long walks. As we walk down the road, I find sticks that we have played with on previous days. At the end of the day, Newt is ready for a deep “snug” on the couch, as we call it.
