More: Nike loves her Orvis dog bed with the bolster that encircles her. She was named by our son for the goddess of victory- not the shoe. She has a lot of responsibilities in her life- keeping all stray animals out of our yard- but mostly controlling Taiji- our younger lab mix male dog. She loves to go on long 6 hour drives to our ranch in Northern California. We found her at the pound at the West LA animal shelter on Labor Day in 2009. Although she is currently struggling with a malignant tumor in her chest and may not be with us much longer, she is running, chasing things and barking with vigor as she lives with her challenge.
