More: I adopted Olive when she was almost 2 1/2. She was living under very stressful circumstances and had been attacked at least twice by another dog in her former home. When I took her into my home she was obese and had a lot of fear aggression issues especially towards other dogs. She was on anxiety medications that seem to be making her even more aggressive. With training, exercise, diet and a lot of patience she is off all the meds, at her proper weight and learning how to play with other dogs again. This photo was taken after a visit to my local dog park where I was able to let her play with another dog off leash for the first time since I adopted her. She did great and had so much fun. You can see in the picture how relaxed and happy she is now. Hopefully I will be able to take her on some nice hiking trails soon. For now we do a lot of city hiking in my Atlanta, GA neighborhoods. She is a fabulous walking companion, a good little watchdog and she loves my 3 cats, Finnegan, Kevin and Oona.
