More: Ollie was rescued from a kill shelter in Mississippi. He was rescued by our local shelter and we volunteered to foster him. He was terrible afraid of everything. He wouldn’t ride in cars, boats, or climb stairs. We were told he couldn’t be off leash and didn’t know how to swim. We brought Ollie canoeing across a local lake to an island where we camped in a tent with him. He hiked without a leash the entire next day. After that we knew he was our dog. We adopted him immediately after and his adventures haven’t stopped.
