More: Oso is a sweet boy who chose me in a time when I needed him the most. As an anesthesia provider in one of the biggest cities in the country, we saw our fair share of COVID patients and it really was a difficult time. It was hard for us to see people when they were at their most vulnerable and sometimes be the last person to hold their hand. Coming home to Oso on those days was a light that I am the most thankful for. He is the sweetest and when he high kicks out of excitement to be outside or when we go on hikes together I’m reminded to be grateful for every moment and make the most of things.
