More: Pilot is an excellent dog in everyway. She is sweet, kind, gentle yet also protective. She gets so excited when she knows she is going to retrieve her decoy she whimpers, jumps up and spins. When she is ready to go to bed she walks half way up the stairs, stops and stares as if she is saying "Let's go, bedtime". Her facial expressions are so intense we know exactly what she wants. Her personality is almost human like. We think she thinks she is human. The water is her playground. There is nothing she would rather be doing than jumping off the end of a pier into a lake to retrieve. She comes out of the water and runs right back onto the pier and drops her decoy, sits and waits for it to be thrown back into the water. She stays until she is told to go. She is my sweetheart and my husbands best friend. We lost our previous dog two weeks prior to having the pleasure of meeting Pilot. We were heartbroken. Pilot truly saved us. She is a warm hearted beautiful dog and true friend. She is very loved and cherished.
