More: Red River the 3rd or Red for short came from the backwoods of Missouri along the Meramac river from my Aunt and Uncles house when he was 3 years old. He would hop on canoes of random people and ride with them until they got home and my aunt would get a call from the people saying we have your dog an hour away, you can come get him. This is how his name came about. Red was a great hunter of squirrel and moles during his youth. He now enjoys his retirement lounging around the house, playing ball and going on shorter walks.
