More: Remi is the first dog I’ve acquired in my adult life out of my parents house. He is my best friend, my guardian, my hunting, hiking and fishing partner. He helped me discover what responsibilities are but also what a family is outside of my given family. He is a hero; he saved my husband and I from our house fire.. our house burnt to the ground , and if he never barked to wake us up, it would have burned with us in it . He is a true orvis dog.
