More: Remington is a village rescue. Adopted while I was on a work trip in Fairbanks Alaska at the Alaska Federation of Natives convention. Remington was from a litter of puppies rescued by the Alaska Rural veterinarian outreach and brought to Fairbanks for adoption. I wanted doodle of sorts but when I saw Remington I could not resist his blue eyes and freckled nose. He is the best dog, loving, gentle with all creatures, smart and best of all he is quite the personality dog and my closest companion. I have other photos in my boat. He’ll sit in the boat housed in my garage waiting for summer.
