Ripley

“Did you hear that?”

More: Ripley loves the outdoors, hiking and swimming every chance she can get. Just when was ready for socialization after her final round of shots, our state shut down due to Covid. We’re working on getting her out, and all the nice people and other dogs along the trails let her know that it’s okay to share the wilderness. To help with this, she’s also been going to daycare once a week, where she hangs out with her new boyfriend, Jack-Jack. She has a two brothers (an English Bulldog named Winslow and a pug named Manwich) and a sister (an eleven year old schnauzer named Mitzi). Mitzi often joins her on her hikes. Ripley is a working and hunting dog cross, which can be interesting. She chased a young moose on the trail this summer (I was absolutely horrified and kept watching over my shoulder for mama moose the rest of the day.). When she came home that day, she decided to steal a pocket knife that was, what we thought, out of her reach. We really want to know what happened when she and the young moose disappeared. She doesn’t play fetch on land, but anything you throw in the water, she’ll retrieve. With her quirky, dorky sweet personality; her unique beauty; and her diverse outdoor interests, Ripley would be an appropriate cover-pup and spokesdog for Orvis.
