More: We are pretty sure that River thinks he’s human. He rides in the car with us wherever we go and prefers to sit shotgun. Sometimes we find him sleeping in the guest bedroom, in the bed (that he’s not allowed in), as if he thinks it’s his own bedroom. He is our best friend. We couldn’t possibly love him any more.
