More: River Dog is an amazing companion who loves water but dislikes rain, go figure. Since he was adopted at 13 weeks of age, I was the lucky one, who was chosen to take him home from his very special foster family. They all cried and the oldest son had to go to his bedroom because River AKA Johnny was supposed to be their first “foster fail”. Again, I was very fortunate to bring River home. The whole adoption process can be quite daunting. Today River can do many commands, not because he’s extremely smart and willing to please but because he is simply an incredible addition to the family and loves all. Everyone loves River!
