More: Rocky is a survivor of hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas (summer of 2019). Potcake dogs are the feral breed of the islands named because of the rice, peas and chicken 'cakes' that stick to the bottom of the pots and fed to these beautiful animals in the islands. The rescue group named him Tommy Bahama but I changed it to Rocky as he was rocked by a hurricane and is now my Rock. He is gentle and shy has some PTSD, but is the most loving dog I have ever owned or known. Takes him a little time to warm up to and trust humans other than his mom but when he does he loves you forever. He loves to cuddle with his feline sister Fiona. I am blessed that he is my Rocky!!
