More: We brought Roper home from the SPCA 2 years ago and he is the most gentle, most kind dog we have ever met. He is a retired hunting dog and while we do not know why he was brought to the SPCA, it is obvious that he was treated well. He loves people - especially those with white hair. And he has adapted to living indoors very well. We got lucky when we found Snap-E-Tom's Roper (name on his birth certificate)
