More: We adopted Roxy from our local humane society in 2018. She was already 5 years old, but she was the most beautiful dog I had ever seen. She is petite for a Great Dane and her coloring is unusual. She is very well-behaved and someone taught her all the basic commands. She is playful with other dogs, but gentle with our one year old son. They play his version of fetch and he loves to feed her treats. She has an incredibly soft mouth and takes food from him only if he is intentional about giving it to her. She loves going along when we ride our horses, chasing rabbits and splashing in the creek. She is friendly, without being overbearing when we are out in public and does the typical Dane "lean" when people pet her. She is easily the best dog I have ever had!
