More: Ruby is a fantastic bird dog. I’ve never hunted behind a better dog. Her instinct is incredible and her obedience is just as impressive. She’s a great retriever and an even better pointer. Unfortunately Ruby’s developed a heart murmur that will prevent her from hunting anymore so this last season was her final season. Over 150 retrieves this year alone. Gonna miss having her on the mountain with me.
