More: The best friend a human could ever have! Our English Lab, Rufus, has been our loyal and constant companion for the last 12 years.  He has the sweetest disposition; everyone he ever met was greeted with a smile and wag of the tail.  He melts every heart. He loves his treats… he will be sure to tell you when he wants one… and where to find it. Rufus loves the water; his favorite day was Sundays when we would go to Shades State Park in Indiana where he would spend the day swimming, running through the rapids, and doing battle with every stick and branch floating down the creek.   Unfortunately now, he only swims in his dreams.  His cancer may have taken his body, but his amazing spirit is still intact.  You can see it in his eyes and his smile.  Even in his twilight, he is forever magnificent.
