More: Ruger used to climb our neighbors 6 foot chain link fence to visit us as we were outside a lot with our kids. At about 5 months old he came to live with us as the neighbor did not have enough time for him. We added him to our household with Bridget and Brandy our 2 Dacshunds and our 3 children. Ruger aka Roo roo because when he talks to you that is how he sounds, doesn’t know a stranger but is protective just the same. He loves the water and riding on his Golf cart —Ruger’s Cruiser and his hunting buggy when we go to our camp. Ruger is a sweet boy raised by Doxies and a few years back when our Mom came to live with us is now ‘hen’pecked by three girls - a hound a chihuahua and a jack russel mix, Candy. Since our Doxies passed Ruger has allowed Candy to adopt me and join his Daddy and I on trips etc. Ruger is Daddy’s boy but shares his love with me too. He came to us in a time when we really couldn’t afford another dog as I was going through cancer treatments and surgeries but we wouldn’t trade him for the world. Ruger is sweet and loving .. he makes all who meet him happy and only asks for a back scratch in return. ❤️
