More: Ruger was a Rescue, he was found under a neighbor's car half starved and weighed 3.7 pounds. He refused to come out from under the car until I took my Jack Russell Jake, now deceased, over. Jake immediately was intrigued by a dog that appeared more of a rat, and Ruger followed us eagerly over to our home where he was immediately provided some hot dogs to plump him up. Jake and he had many wonderful memories. Today Ruger weighs a whopping 8 or 9 pounds but loves hikes, walks, and hammocks.
