More: Over 10 years ago Sadie moved in as a foster, and never left. In the last 10 years, we've had our share of adventures but, despite starting out with a serious anxiety disorder, she's been down for every single one. She loves hiking, climbing trees, being on the water, finding bugs and snakes, and generally exploring the outdoors together. She's 12 years old now and missing a kidney, but she's still ready to get out and go every single day. She's my best adventure partner, and nothing makes me happier than the look of joy on her face each time we head out.
