More: Sammy came from Missouri to NY at about 3 weeks old. his mother was killed in a chicken coup and Sammy and his 3 siblings were transported by my friend to her shelter in Bedford NY where I met him days after he arrived. He is growing into an amazing dog and would love to be a cover model for Orvis (his dad is a pet photographer!)
