More: "Samuel" has completed his professional training as a service dog and is currently a Therapy Dog for an elementary school psychologist. Sammy has been in training starting at 8 weeks of age with me as his volunteer puppy raiser prior to returning him to Canine Companions for Independence HQ in Santa Rosa, CA. He is proficient on over 40 commands. Just prior to "turning-in" Sammy, I took him on a trip to Yosemite where he did some hiking and learned to paddle board.
