More: When Sammy was just a puppy, we drove 27 hours across country to ski in Montana. She never tired of frisking and playing with us in the deep snow! She is a fabulous companion who loves the outdoors. Last summer we took her along fly fishing while we floated the Madison River for a day. She only barked once, when she needed to go potty. Our guide let her smell the fish and she was politely curious. Like all dog owners, we think our Sammy is the best!
