More: I rescued Satara when she was 7 months old. She had been left at the shelter because her previous owner said she took up too much time. She had been treated harshly and had been hit. It took quite some time to win her trust. Now she is a very happy dog with a zest for life! This photo was taken at my local ballpark, where she ran up a mound of sand intended to resurface the diamond in the coming spring. She has a great sense of doggy humor, loves to tease, and loves a challenge!
