More: I rescued Satara from the Humane Society only 4 months ago, when she was 7 months old. I had originally met her with her first owners, and was devastated when I learned that they had surrendered her because "she took up too much time"! I immediately applied to adopt her, before the Humane Society even listed her as available for adoption, and was thrilled when I got to bring her home to join her 9 year old big brother (also a black GSD). She is a sweetheart: smart, playful, very responsive, highly sociable, and intensely loyal. She loves all things outdoors, and the mini trampoline has become her favorite "toy", second only to her swimming pool and water bucket, and right up there with her football!
