More: Scout and his brother were deserted and rescued from a closed state park by my son in South Carolina. The two emaciated pups ran from the woods to my son’s car as he was turning around to leave. Scout’s brother was adopted by a friend and we miraculously found a transport to take him from SC to our home in Rochester, NY during the start of Covid. Scout is a true Southern boy - he is not too fond of our cold weather! Scout has worked hard to get rid of his fear of busy roads and cars and will tolerate the cold for his beloved daily walks. His lab spirit has finally surfaced and playing fetch is his new joy and every person and dog is his new best friend. He loves the dog park, burrowing under covers and snuggling.
