Sidney

Bliss at Mount Baker

More: Sidney is a rescue that came to me with failing eyesight due to cataracts and retinal atrophy at the age of two. I wanted to give her the best life possible as it’s unclear how long she will keep her eyes. Currently, she has 0% vision in her left eye and about 40% vision in her right. However, this girl is resilient. Together we hike, backpack, snowshoe, and of course cuddle. She’s the best adventure buddy anyone could ask for and a true testament to doing what you set your mind to. She’s incredible with children and other dogs and often attends work with me (I’m an ELL teacher) and reads with my students. She lights up the room and my students love to write short stories about her.
