More: Simón saved my life and my daughter's life in many ways over many years because he supported us in major depressive episodes and also defended me, against the physical abuse that I was a victim of by my daughter's father. When my daughter and I got through those situations, he was our adventure and inspiration friend who taught me to be compassionate towards human beings. Through him, I learned not to judge, to listen carefully, to love silently and to accept. After years of being separated from my daughter's father, one night while Simon and I were walking, he caught the eye of a man, whom he pushed towards me. Over time that man and I fell in love, currently, we have been together for five years and we are engaged. Unfortunately, Simon passed away on September 1, 2020 due to cancer, so we donated his body to science so that vets could learn more about the disease from him and that way too he could continue to serve and teach people. Before Simon, I was someone. With him I became a person and after him I became a sensitive and balanced human being. For all the people who shared with him, that was a considerable loss that, after the tears, left them more love and peace in their lives.
