More: Our son had asked for a dog for a long time. For his 5th birthday my husband went to our local shelter to find him a puppy. Snoopy was the only puppy there and he adopted him and called us to come see him. We arrived and our son was elated, he said, ‘This is the dog I’ve always wanted and I’m gonna name him Snoopy!’ I looked at my husband and said, ‘You just adopted a pit bull for our 5 year old.’ We put Snoopy in my car and headed home, half way there he threw up on the floor of my car. Since that day, Snoopy has been the very best dog. He is gentle, kind, sweet and always happy. He really is the dog I’ve always wanted.
