More: Sparrow was rescued by us after reading his story. The little guy was hit by a car down south and was due to be euthanized when a rescue stepped in and saved him. His injuries included the loss of an eye and part of his ear, broken leg, hernia, and numerous surgeries to close a hole in the covering over his penis. Having only one eye has not hindered Sparrow at all. He loves playing in the snow, and going on hikes with us. ShihTzu’s are normally thought of as a house dog but Sparrow is the opposite. He loves spending time in the great outdoors.
