More: Speck was adopted by us from a family at the age of 4. He was an energetic maniac and a lazy bum all in one. When Speck was 7 he was diagnosed with mega esophagus which had us building him a special chair to sit in to eat. He handled it with determination. Then 8 years old he had his first ACL replacement and at 9 his second. Speck didn’t let anything get him down. He loved as hard as he fought to keep going. We were blessed to have him for 16 1/2 years when he passed in May 2021. He deserved his title of Super Speck!
