More: Stella the wonder mutt was adopted from the Fort Lauderdale Humane Society as a puppy and I can’t imagine how I would have gotten through the past eight years without her. She has been my best friend and devoted companion through multiple cancer surgeries, a landmark legal victory, a break up, and many other life events that I don’t know how I would’ve managed by myself. She is snuggled up with me right now on a frosty 🥶 Lundi Gras in New Orleans as I write this!
